I think the best thing at innovasion was the speeches. Since i'm grade 12 it was good to get some university and college intro books. I found it hard to listen to some of the colleges and universities because they all pretty much say the same thing.

ReplyDeleteI found out that one of the booths offers a internship program =)
The Nurse Next Door guy said something that stuck with me. " Focus on your strengths instead of your weaknesses."
ReplyDeleteI found that the feildtrip was very interesting and it was a good lesson to learn. I liked the last guy in the end because of the great advice he gave. Overall it was a good feildtrip.

ReplyDeletei really liked all the people we had to talk to at the booths they gave us alot of information we needed to know.
I enjoyed mayor Gregor Robertson's speech, I found it a bit more motivational than the rest with the exception of the Nurses Next Door guy
ReplyDeleteYesterday was pretty okay. I liked how London School of hair and asthetics used actual students to showcase their talents. Also met some cool people from that Impact/Youth company.
ReplyDeleteThe last speaker talked about when running your own business not too worry about your weaknesses and only focus on your strengths. What if your weaknesses are what make you fail at running your own business?
ReplyDeleteI found the field trip was a overall great trip. I like how the last speaker used humour in his presentation and how he gave good advice.
ReplyDeleteA lot of booths at the convention weren't interesting and they didn't stand out from the other booths. However it was interesting to listen to the speakers and how they started their business
ReplyDeleteOverall i like the conference. I liked how they had free giveaways to pull you in. They gave you some good avice/information on business and different post secondary schools. I also liked the last speaker. He gave some good advice, like to focus on your strengths and to do something in life that you like, not what makes you the most money.
ReplyDeletewhat i like about the field trip it was a nice a trip, i like the speakers like the two ladies who owned the cupcakes. Aloso i the hotel it was very nice. in this fieldtrip i like everything.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the speakers better than the booths, I found if I was standing at a booth the people working the booth rather talk to some of the adults than me
ReplyDeletei agree with greg
ReplyDeletei agree with that statement.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the speaker that said 'focusing on your strengths instead of your weaknesses' speech. This message really stood out to me. Out of everything else, I found Vancouver.com and London Hair School interesting.
